Day
1
Check in at Dublin airport for our early morning Aer Lingus
flight to Naples, departing at 07:30 and arriving at 11:45.
On arrival we will be met by our representative and our coach.
We will drive to Pietrelcina where we will have lunch at the
Piana Romana. After lunch we will
attend mass in the church beside the friary and time permitting
we will visit the houses connected to the life of St. Pio. We
will then drive to the Bei Park Hotel,
three miles outside Benevento where we will be spending three
nights on a half board basis.
Day 2 + 3
During our stay in Benevento we
will visit the shrine of St. Philomena and Morcone, the little
convent where St. Pio first entered the Capuchines. In Pietrelcina
we will spend our time wandering the little laneways where St.
Pio spent his childhood. See the home and birthplace of St.
Pio also.
Day 4
Today we will transfer to San Giovanni and check in at the
Hotel Colonne for four nights on a
full board basis.
Days 5 – 7
During our stay in San Giovanni we will visit the Monastery
of Our Lady of Grace for Mass. See the old tomb of St. Pio,
his Cell, his Confessional, and the Cross under which he received
the Stigmata. Watch a short film, and enjoy a welcome "cuppa"
in the English Office. Visit the new Basilica and the new tomb
of St. Pio. We will also visit Monte San Angelo
and San Marco in Lamis, two beautiful
shrines not to be missed.
Day 8
Our coaches will transfer us from our hotel to Naples airport.
Check in at Naples airport for Aer Lingus flight to Dublin,
departing at 12:30 and arriving at 14:55.

Day 1
Check in at Dublin airport for our early morning Aer Lingus
flight to Naples, departing at 07:30 and arriving at 11:45.

We will drive to Pietrelcina where we will have lunch at the
Piana Romana. After lunch we will
attend mass in the church beside the friary and time permitting
we will visit the houses connected to the life of St. Pio.Transfer
to Hotel Colonne
and check-in for 4 nights on a full board basis.
Day 2
After breakfast we will celebrate Mass in the Church of Santa
Maria delle Grazie. We will visit the English Office where we
will hear about the incredible life of St. Pio. There will be
an opportunity to receive a personal blessing with St. Pio’s
glove and crucifix. Return to our hotel for lunch. After lunch
we will visit the Capuchin Friary, the cell where St. Pio lived
and died, the crucifix before which he received the stigmata.
We will visit the new Basilica with its wonderful mosaics and
also visit St. Pio’s tomb. Afterwards we will take part in the
Way of the Cross before returning to our hotel for our evening
meal.
Day 3 – 4
Today we take the coach to San Marco
in Lamis where we can browse the local markets. We will visit
St. Matthew’s monastery and have the blessing of the oils before
returning to our hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, we visit
Monte Sant’Angelo, the shrine
in the cave where the Archangel Michael appeared in the 5th
century and where we will celebrate Mass. Return to our hotel
for dinner and overnight.
Day 5
In the morning we leave San Giovanni and drive to Conca
Park Hotel in Sorrento where we check-in for 3 nights
on a half board basis. This is a four star hotel, with swimming
pool, within walking distance to the centre of the town
Day 6
Morning tour on the Coast
of Amalfi. Optional Day trip to the famous Isle of
Capri. Enjoy the short comfortable boat journey, the fabulous
scenery on the Isle (optional chair-lift to the hill-top), and
the shopping.
Day 7
Relax with a free day around Sorrento
Day 8
Morning drive to Naples airport for our departure at 12.30,
arriving back in Dublin at 14.55
